MITCHAM ANGLICAN CEMETERY

Blythwood Road, Mitcham

Mitcham Anglican Cemetery is a two acre section of land incorporated within the Mitcham General Cemetery. It is situated on the north east corner, and is accessible from Blythewood Road.

With true 19th century charm, it was designed to replicate English cemeteries of the time. Beautifully surrounded by hedges, it has an intimate old world character. Century-old pine and cypress trees add to its vintage Victorian appeal and beauty.

Many of the early pioneering families who made significant contributions to the initial growth and prosperity of the state are buried here.
